| Completes credit reviews of clients and prospective clients to evaluate financial risk, determine collateral requirements and report to field underwriting and management personnel. Prepares, analyzes and reconciles financial reports and records for distribution to management. |
| Responsibilities: | |
- Perform credit and financial statement analysis of clients and prospective clients to determine ability to satisfy the financial obligations of commercial casualty insurance policies
- Determine the collateral requirements based on the financial strength of the client/prospective client and the risk associated with the insurance program offered
- Prepare and distribute Financial Log and Unsecured Report to management and field underwriting staff monthly, which include credit review statistics and the monitoring of receipt of required collateral and security agreements
- Maintain collateral inventory database
- Reconcile cash collateral and working trust fund accounts and perform related transactions
- Review and negotiate changes to security agreements, letter of credit contracts and other legal documents pertaining to the financial obligations of the client/prospective client. Includes interaction with legal department and management
- Performs ad hoc analyses, customer service and collections

| Requirements: | |
- Bachelor's Degree in business field. Finance or Accounting degree a plus.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in Casualty Insurance, including alternative loss financing mechanisms, a plus.
- 3-6 years of related financial or accounting experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel & accounting software.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong planning/prioritizing skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with all levels of management.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organization
