Position Title: Global Research Analyst
Salary: $80-130K base
Location:
Reports to: Portfolio Manager – International and Global Equities
Essential Functions:
Assist Portfolio Managers in studies of the industry groups and specific securities in support of the International and Global Equity Department.
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
- Provide stock recommendations in both International and U.S. Markets
- Ensure analyses deliverables to meet business requirements
- Review, analyze and draw conclusions relating to prospective portfolio company investments and present results to Portfolio Manager
- Preparation of comparative reports
- Generate own individual ideas resulting from analysis
- Periodic meeting with clients/consultants
- Travel approximately once a quarter
- Ability to exercise initiative to define and resolve problems.
- Strong and proven judgment in the field of securities analysis
- Credible techniques and skills necessary for investment analysis and research
- Excellent communication and written skills
5. Ability to quickly prioritize in an ever-changing environment
Experience:
- Two or more years investment experience or related business experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Economics or Finance
- CFA helpful but not required
