The part of my job that keeps me very current with what is happening in the modern corporate interview scene, is de-briefing candidates after they meet with a client. I usually ask my candidates to call me as soon as they walk out the door of the building. One or two of the questions I ask are concerned with the specific questions asked by the interviewers. I take a lot of notes on these and I thought that over the next few emails I would share some of the more common/uncommon questions, answers, and outcomes with you. Contact me with your best or worst and I will try to get it in here. The first one is a real classic and is often referred to as ‘the best interview question of all time;’
The best interview question of all time:
· Please think about your most significant accomplishment. Now, could you tell me all about it?
If the interviewer is good this can take up most of a 45 minute interview.
