Senior Reporting Analyst, Wayne, PA - $65-70K

Title:     Senior Reporting Analyst

Salary: $65-70K

 

Sizzle:  This is a $600M company that is contemplating a public offering (good chance to grow into some SEC experience for the right candidate.) 

Our client is a leading international producer and seller of high-quality specialty metals, alloys and metallic chemicals which are essential to the production of high-performance aluminum and titanium alloys, specialty steel, super alloys and certain non-metallic materials for various applications in the aerospace, power supply, automotive, petrochemical processing and telecommunications industries.  Client sells approximately 50 different product groups to over 1,500 customers worldwide (primarily in North and South America and Europe).   


EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting

- CPA preferred

- Strong technical background: US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting skills required

- Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills

- Hyperion or other financial consolidation package experience

- Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks.  Hands on person

- Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access applications; proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

(These are responsibilities not prerequisites.)

- Assist the Controller in preparation of Forms 10-K and 10-Q and IFRS accounting reports, including footnotes and MD&A

- Obtain, prepare and tie-out certain supporting work papers for amounts in 10-K and 10-Q

- Assist in the preparation of the annual separate company financial statements for regulatory, statutory and debt compliance purposes

- Assist in the preparation of non-recurring SEC filings, including debt and equity offerings, shelf registrations, proxy/exchange offers and other significant transactions

- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statement account analysis package for Senior Management’s review

- Perform ad hoc financial reporting and special projects as needed

- Maintain the Corporate office general Ledger and accounts payable      system

- Support the NJ subsidiary accounting function

- Support and back up the daily cash management function

- Support the inquires regarding the Company's Pension Plan

- Other duties as assigned
